Wabash County Lawnmower Race Rules

2. All mowers will pass inspection before, during and/or after races. Race officials have the final say in all matters. Those in noncompliance will be asked to leave.
3. Minimum age 14, and those under 18 must have a parent's signature.
4. Bumpers must not extend forward of front or wider than rear tires and must be between tires with no side bumpers.
5. All drivers will wear a D.O.T or Snell helmet.
6. Number plates must be placed on front and left sides. Numbers must be a minimum of 8 inches in black or contrasting color. Driver number must also be on the helmet.
7. Basic dirt-track rules apply. No working on mowers on track. If you leave the track during the race, there will be no re-entering.
8. Flagmen have final ruling on track. Yellow laps do not count.
9. All drivers will sign a waiver of liability and insurance claim against Wabash County 4-H Fair, the fair board or Eel River Racers and its staff.
10. Divisions
A. Pure stock. Stock mowers with no modifications allowed. Working kill switch on the seat or tether kill switch. All blades must be removed. No zero-turn mowers.
B. SuperStock. Stock appearing mower with tether kill switch, deadman throttle and single-cylinder motor.
C. Modified. Stock appearing mowers, tether kill switch, deadman throttle.
D. SuperStock and Modifieds will be inspected on Twelve Mile rules.
11. Wheel base must not exceed 48 inches with a 14-inch minimum seat height.
Maximum width is 36 inches.
